Kindly advise me the membership fees involved and the level at which i will join

hi Justine,
I am a motswana working for blue insurance services in botswana with a COP, and would like to join as a member of your institute.
Kindly advice me the membership fee involved and the level at which i will join.

The institute should intervene with some companies who are refusing to employ people with just an insurance qualification but they are saying they would rather employ people with degrees.May the institute take this seriously.

Hellow Bonolo
Thank you for showing interest in joining IIZA, kindly provide your e-mail for communation.

Isaac Mkandawire says...Job well done. IIZA will definately help to add value and depth to the service we provide to our clients. Let's hope IIZA will penetrate other countries like Insurance Institue of Zimbabwe which is conducting examinations in Botswana. Please advise on how one can become an AIIZA.

Hello. My name is Jan Arbogast from U.S.A. I am looking for a child that I sponsored under "Christian Children's Fund" which now goes by the name
"Child Fund International" His name is Renox Mulendema. his family is from Lusaka, Zambia. He is missing one eye. I received word from CFI that he is no longer in their programs. I would desperately like to keep in contact with Renox if I only new his contact information. Can you please help me?? He is dear to our family and in our prayers always.
I used "google" to research his name on computer and found this site listing his name.
Thank you and God Bless you

Thank you Mr Kaira for visiting our website I can assure it is this type of interaction
amongest insurance practitioners which will bring positive impact in our industry.
I felt I should clarify a few issues that you raised in our guestbook;
1. Institute's Authority in the industry: there is a wronmg perception by most
professionals in Zambia, not only Insurance, Law, Accounting, Marketing etc that
the only way to progress by having a law to back them;
Professionals worldwide are ONLY governed by their code of ethics not a law
e,g ACCA, CII, CII, CIMA etc. However, where orifessionals fail to manage
themselves thats when the Law comes in to compel them.
2. the Institute IIZA has just been in existance for a short period compared to CII but
am sure when you visited the website you might have noticed the euthusiamsm
amongset practitioiners to change the way we do things. IIZA is working with
industry bodies, IAZ, IBAZ, ZAPFM, PIA and ZIBCT to achive that.
3. we intend to visit Livingstone sometime later as the New Governing Council is just
settling in after being elected at the AGM on 20th June 2009, we definitely
contact you for assistance to mobilise all the professionals in conjuction with Mr
Nkan at ZSIC Life Livingstone.
4. Joining as a member find attached the forms for your completion kindly deposit
the fees in the institute bank account no 04202100000008959, zanaco ndola
business centre.it will be processed and membership card sent. as for the
admission form, kindly choose the appropriate designation as per the attached
News flash.
5. for regulatory compliance, for someone to be allowed to work in the industry, to
be licenced, a Draft IIZA Bill has been developed but pedning for further
consultation until further notice.
I sincerely thank you for the interest that you have shown in the institute and I only wish that you will continue to sensitise others to to do the same.
kindest regards
Justine Kabwe ASI, FIIZA, FCII

thank you for you rich comment Mr Kaira, kindly include your e-mail too.

thank you for you rich comment Mr Kaira, kindly include your e-mail too.

hi it was good going through this website, guess this is the step in the right direction though i personally feel the institute does not seem to have much authority in the insurance industry like the way forinstance Zica and institue of marketing has, hope something can be done about it,i feel our industry is the most prestigeous among the many industries i can think of those i feel anyone can work their even if their have no insurance papers,i feel those in leadership should work a liittle hard to see to it that these industry has the respect it deserves,to give you a good example am a cii member the benefits one has are very good and in the UK being in the insurance industry is really prestigeous i feel the same should be for us in Zambia,if you come to livingstone where am working you will be shocked people know cii more than this institute that hurts cause for me its seems activity is more in copperbelt, hope it will be different i would love to join as a member,i personally hope for a time when being in the insurance industry would be a great honour than it is today, i wish to suggest that let it be a must that each company should pay membership for each employee to be allowed to work in this industry.
for now i end here bless you

Hi mr president,
i just want to find out when the membership cards will be issued out?

Hi, mr president
I just want to find out whether in future our institute will start publishing our own books which will be used as study coures books for the students who are studying insurance,i do appricate the fact that students are using books for the charted institute of uk (cii) when they are not writting the u.k examinations,i say so because i have never seen any single book written apart from the insurace magazine which was introduced recently, and what is affecting or happening in our own country is not corved in the cii books.. thank you

Hi Mr. Kabwe,
Congratulations for retaining your position as Chairman of the institute.
I travelled very well and iam back in Botswana.
Lastly, i wish to remind you about copies of my DIS and CBS from ZIBC .
Thank you,
Maalila Malambo

Mr Patrick its suppose to be quarterly publication but the published discontinued due business diversification reason, we are in the process of engaging another one. most likely after the AGM this will be concluded if the team will pull through the elections.
thank you for your interest and just prepare articles for publications.
meawhile, prepare for the AGM on 20th June 2009 at Sandy;s Creation .
